Greenwood Project recruits first-year college students and trains them through their sophomore year for a junior-year internship in the financial services industry.
Our fully virtual, twelve-month program moves Scholars through four courses: building professional clarity, technical skill in a chosen career Academy, interview readiness, and the corporate know-how.
Along the way you work directly with a Career Coach and build a network of corporate volunteers and professionals across the industry.

A high-trajectory role requires your degree and starts at $60,000 or more.
You work independently, then bring that work to a live session.
Bi-weekly live sessions
Scholars meet every other week in consistent groups. Each session builds on your independent work, giving you the instruction and practice you need to succeed in your career track.
Your Academy capstone
Your Academy capstone is the culmination of the work you've done throughout the Academy. As you build industry-specific knowledge and concepts over the year, the capstone is where you demonstrate that knowledge, assessed by your Career Coaches and other industry professionals.
Coaching that stays with you
Career Coaches are seasoned financial services professionals who support your progress, facilitate live workshops, review your work, and stay with you throughout the year.
A real time commitment
Expect 20 to 40 hours of work per month across live sessions, independent coursework, and capstone projects.
AI Literacy and Agent Management
Every Scholar gets terminal access and an enterprise AI account funded by us, then learns to build and manage agents in Claude Code rather than a chat window. Most have never opened a terminal before this. That training is then applied inside your Academy, where you build agents aligned to your career track, so you leave able to put AI to work on the job rather than just talk about it.

Scholars work through activities, workshops, and reflections to gain a deep sense of self, then build knowledge of the financial services industry.
Aug – NovCareer Academy02 · Technical skill-building
Technical training in your chosen Academy, delivered alongside industry curriculum partners and ending in a capstone project.
Jan – MarInterview Preparation03 · Get interview-ready
Resume revision, remote interviewing strategy, professional introductions, behavioral and technical questions, and live interviewing. Scholars finish with a mock interview. Investment Banking Scholars spend these months on their recruitment break instead.
Apr – JunCorporate Culture04 · Navigate the unwritten rules
Corporate America runs on rules no one writes down. This course teaches you to navigate them, from professionalism and personal branding to building strong working relationships and working through imposter syndrome.
