We are currently recruiting for the 2025 cohort and will be recruiting rising juniors (2026) and rising sophomores (2027).
 
The 2026 cohort will open August 1st. Eligible candidates will be rising sophomores (2027) graduates and freshmen (2028) graduates.
 

Our team reviews applications on a rolling basis. Once your application is thoroughly reviewed, we will inform you of our decision via email. 

We accept all kinds of majors, but finance, accounting, and STEM majors are preferred. 

Our acceptance rate is 22%. Here is a breakdown of our 2024 acceptance rate:

  • 19% of our scholars are freshmen
  • 44% are sophomores
  • 37% are juniors.

If you are a college student who is put on the waitlist, this means that we believe you are an outstanding candidate for the Greenwood Project, but we currently do not have an internship placement available for you. We cannot give an exact date that we will make final decisions about students who are placed on the waitlist. Sometimes, our waitlist can extend into May or June as more internship positions become available or accepted students drop out of the program.

We will look at applications from students who have been accepted into a 4-year college and plan to enroll in the following academic year.

A great resume contains only relevant information and should be only one page. 

No. You will need to have all of your materials really to upload at one time.

Downtown Chicago, IL. College students who live outside of Chicago will be housed in dorms. College students who live near downtown Chicago will commute each day, and Greenwood Project will cover public transportation costs.

YES. All students are encouraged to apply, even from out of state. If admitted into the program, our program offers housing options. Every admitted student from out of state will need to apply for housing.

We have corporate partners all over the United States in cities like Chicago, New York, and Denver. Any costs associated with travel and housing will be covered by the Greenwood Project and/or our corporate partners.

An essay will only be required if you have less than a 3.0 GPA.

The essay should outline the status of your academic shortcomings. We are looking for the applicant to outline their story and provide us with as much information as possible to understand the story behind the candidate’s academic journey.

2025 Internship positions and our in-person intensive training are not guaranteed and will be based on securing an internship for the summer of 2025.

  • Applicants must not require sponsorship at any time in the present or the future. This includes OPT,F-1, etc.
